We’re down to just six undefeated Big Ten teams, and four of them are squaring off in head-to-head action this week, meaning a maximum of four Big Ten schools will be unblemished this time next week. We had plenty of movement once again in this week’s power rankings.

This week, there’s an added bonus with the rankings — my “Non-Conference All-Surprise Teams.” Even though all 14 Big Ten teams haven’t played exclusively non-conference games and some still have some lingering non-B1G matchups on their schedules over the next few weeks, I decided this seems like a good week to put something a little different together to go with the rankings. That includes an All-Surprise Team on the good side of things, and then an All-Disappointment Team of folks who haven’t been impressing so far at the 25% mark of the 2023 season.

Here are those teams, plus the newest edition of my power rankings, which have seven schools in different spots than they were a week ago.

(Previous power rankings: Post-Week 2 | Post-Week 1 | Preseason)
