If you missed my announcement in Monday’s newsletter, July is going to be a month focused on previewing the Big Ten Conference as a whole. I’ll still be sprinkling in some other non-preview material (keep your eyes out for the annual subscriber survey that should hit your inboxes in the next week or two), but for the most part, July will focus on previewing the conference and August will be more Michigan-specific. The rollout plan for the positional previews is as follows:
Tuesday, July 2: QBs
Friday, July 5: RBs
Tuesday, July 9: WR/TEs
Friday, July 12: OL
Tuesday, July 16: DL
Friday, July 19: LBs
Tuesday, July 23: DBs
Friday, July 26: Special teams
Tuesday, July 30: Full Big Ten preview
So let’s dig into it. There’s no better place to start than at the QB position — one that’s been completely flipped on its head this offseason with a number of high-profile transfers. Here’s how I rank Big Ten schools at the position, where Michigan fits in to the mix, where I see intriguing position battles and more.
