Radio recap (7/1): Don't expect 'the hammer' to drop on Michigan
This post is unlocked and available for all readers.
Happy July, everyone. We’re still nine weeks away from the start of college football season. But if you want to play mind games with yourself, you can technically say “college football is going to be played next month” and you’ll technically be correct and it’ll feel a lot closer than it actually is.
I’m sharing audio from my radio appearance over at The Michigan Insider with Sam Webb and Ira Weintraub on Sports Talk 1050 WTKA The Ticket in Ann Arbor. But before we get to that, I wanted to outline the content plan for this month for premium subscribers, which will be a 9-part preview of the Big Ten football season.
Every Tuesday and Friday this month, I’ll roll out a positional preview series that focuses on a different position. We’ll start tomorrow with QBs. And it’ll continue the rest of the month on the following schedule:
Tuesday, July 2: QBs
Friday, July 5: RBs
Tuesday, July 9: WR/TEs
Friday, July 12: OL
Tuesday, July 16: DL
Friday, July 19: LBs
Tuesday, July 23: DBs
Friday, July 26: Special teams
Tuesday, July 30: Full Big Ten preview
If you’re not a premium subscriber and you’d like access for that preview material, other premium content and coverage throughout the season, you can explore monthly and annual premium subscriber options below.
And with that out of the way, here’s audio of my weekly radio appearance from Monday morning:
