It’s time for the Week 7 installment of my weekly viewing guide. For those of you who may need a reminder, this Friday staple typically includes the following:

  • My breakdown and prediction (both straight and against the spread) of Michigan’s game

  • My choices for the three biggest Big Ten games of the week that don’t involve Michigan, including predictions straight and against the spread

  • My choices for the three biggest non-Big Ten games of the weekend, including predictions straight and against the spread

  • Rapid-fire predictions for all other Big Ten games, both straight and against the spread.

After having my Big Ten power rankings be a separate post over the past few weeks, I’m going to revert to the early season plan of tacking them on to the end of this post for this week instead. This is likely just a one-week thing, though, and it’s merely a product of me being on vacation this week (as I mentioned in my premium subscriber Q&A earlier this week) and trying to simplify some things for the sake of getting to spend some time with family.

Before we get to this week’s picks, breakdowns and rankings below the paywall jump, here’s an updated tally of how my picks have done for the season:

2025 results

Michigan games
  • Straight: 3-2

  • Against the spread: 2-3

B1G games
  • Straight: 62-10

  • Against the spread: 40-32

Overall
  • Straight: 73-18

  • Against the spread: 48-43

With that out of the way, let’s get to the content. 👇
