It’s time for the Week 6 installment of my weekly viewing guide. For those of you who may need a reminder, this Friday staple typically includes the following:

  • My breakdown and prediction (both straight and against the spread) of Michigan’s game

  • My choices for the three biggest Big Ten games of the week that don’t involve Michigan, including predictions straight and against the spread

  • My choices for the three biggest non-Big Ten games of the weekend, including predictions straight and against the spread

  • Rapid-fire predictions for all other Big Ten games, both straight and against the spread.

Last week’s Michigan-less viewing guide ended up going pretty well results-wise, even if it was a smaller sample size. I went 4-2 straight and 4-2 against the spread with Big Ten games, including Oregon’s road upset against Penn State. And then I went 3-1 straight and 2-2 ATS in the “big four” non-B1G matchups.

Here’s how my picks have done for the season:

2025 results

Michigan games
  • Straight: 2-2

  • Against the spread: 2-2

B1G games
  • Straight: 56-9

  • Against the spread: 37-28

Overall
  • Straight: 65-16

  • Against the spread: 43-38

Let’s get to this week’s picks after the paywall jump. 👇
