Stock watch (9/3): Who's on the rise and who's on the decline across the Big Ten?

When I outlined what the weekly coverage plans would be back in August (you can read all about that here, ICYMI — and be sure to take advantage of the giveaways that are mentioned in there, too), I promised a new weekly staple called “Stock Watch.” This is my first crack at that.

In an effort to try and do a little more Big Ten-wide coverage beyond Michigan like I aim to do with the power rankings and my viewing guide, this staple with have a conference-wide focus to it. Each week I’ll spotlight three Big Ten things/players on the rise and three on the decline, too.
