Radio recap (1/6): U-M's big win over Bama, hoops trending up and some Lions talk
This post is unlocked and available for all readers
There was no shortage of big wins to talk about on Monday for my weekly radio appearance on The Michigan Insider with Sam Webb and Ira Weintraub on the newly rebranded The Big 1050 WTKA in Ann Arbor.
Since our last visit, Michigan football had shocked Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl for what is statistically the second biggest upset in bowl history, Michigan hoops picked up another big conference road win out West against USC and the Detroit Lions locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC in their regular season finale against the Vikings.
We talked about all three on Monday morning. Audio from that appearance — along with a timestamped topic guide that covers what was discussed and when — can be found below.
