Michigan’s quest for a National Championship is officially underway. Things hit a bit of a speedbump in the final 16 minutes or so of the game. But for the first 75% of the opener, Michigan’s starters looked locked in, focused and up for the task ahead.
Here’s my quick reaction to Michigan’s 30-3 win over East Carolina, where I’ll examine the good, the bad and the TBD.
(Editor’s note: Like I outlined in my weekly content plan that I shared a couple days back, I’ll be adding some new coverage wrinkles this fall. This is one of those new features: Quick post-game reaction with my immediate thoughts on the game. This will not replace my weekly column after a Michigan game. I plan on those being in your inboxes every Monday morning this fall. Those columns will be more comprehensive looks at the previous week’s game and a look ahead to what’s next. This new feature is designed to share my immediate takeaways in the aftermath of a Michigan game.)
