July is here. Not only does that mean we’re technically just one month away from being in a month where college football will be played — it also means we’re ramping things back up here at the Scott Bell Newsletter.
This month will center around previewing the Big Ten season with a nine-installment preview series rolling out all month long, starting today. August will consist of Michigan-specific content. More on that as we get closer to August.
Here’s a look at how the month will play out preview-wise. In my radio recap newsletter post on Monday, I mentioned this will be likely be on an every Tuesday/every Friday schedule for the month. It’s actually going to be every Wednesday/every Friday schedule instead:
Wednesday, July 2: QBs
Friday, July 4: RBs
Wednesday, July 9: WR/TEs
Friday, July 11: OL
Wednesday, July 16: DL
Friday, July 18: LBs
Wednesday, July 23: DBs
Friday, July 25: Special teams
Wednesday, July 30: Full Big Ten preview
For now, let’s get the Big Ten season preview series kicked off with the most high-profile position there is: quarterback. After the paywall jump below, there will be 4,000+ words breaking down all the projected starters across the Big Ten and placing them in tiers/rankings to give an early look of how I expect the position to play out this fall.
