2024 U-M football fan survey (Part 2): How you feel about the state of the program

Earlier this month, I sent out the 2024 edition of my annual U-M football fan survey. After closing the entries a few days later and wading through hundreds of completed surveys with thousands of data points, it’s time to start sharing the responses — as well as my thoughts on the same questions I asked y’all.
The rollout started last week, when I shared highlights of your responses to questions about the NCAA investigation into the program and former coach Jim Harbaugh. That rollout will continue today as I focus on the questions that had to do with the current state of the Michigan football program. And it will continue later in the week when I drop parts 3 and 4.
Here is the full rollout plan, along with topics:
NCAA investigation (read here)
Overall state of the program (today)
Offseason changes (Thursday)
Expectations for the season ahead (Saturday)
After the paywall jump, we’ll look at eight different questions that center around the current state of the Michigan football program and see what the majority of this fanbase feels like, as well as my thoughts on the same questions.
